Salima M. Duling, J.D.
Sali Duling is licensed in both Virginia and Georgia and has been practicing the last four years with the Georgia firm Moorhead Law Firm LLC. Her practice focuses on complex estate planning matters with particular emphasis on special needs and Medicaid planning.
Sali received her Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude in Classics at the University of Georgia. While an undergraduate, she spent a term at Oxford University studying Classics and English, which led to her induction into Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars.
She graduated from law school at Regent University in Virginia, where she received a Regent Scholar Award, an Academic Merit Award, and a scholarship to attend a summer program at Strasbourg, France, studying the origins of Western legal tradition.
After graduating from law school, she spent another three years at the University of Georgia pursuing post-graduate work in legal rhetoric. During that time, she taught composition at the university.
Sali is very active in her church, Hillcrest Baptist Church, where she teaches Sunday School. She is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Sali is a member of the Christian Legal Society. She also volunteers her time to Dominion School for Autism.
Sali and her husband Jeff live in Hanover with their hound dogs Puddleglum and Emma.
